Dog running in the park

Dog parks are a great way for pets to socialize and get some much-needed exercise. Atlanta has several designated off-leash dog parks within the city limits in addition to a few unique parks in the suburbs that give people and their pups a chance to mingle and let loose. If you’re worried about the heat in the summer months, most of these parks offer shaded areas and bark mulch landscaping to keep paws cool.

Before heading out to a dog park, be sure to pack extra bags and water. If your pup will be off leash, always keep them in view and within voice control range.
