Boulder is among the most dog-friendly cities in the country, with many restaurants and breweries that warmly welcome four-legged dining companions. While dogs are not allowed inside establishments (due to health codes), if the place has a patio or an outdoor space, chances are you can bring them along. The one indoor exception is breweries that don’t serve food. Also keep in mind that the popular pedestrian hub of Pearl Street Mall and the Boulder Farmers Market don’t permit dogs.

Here are some of Boulder’s most popular dog-friendly restaurants and bars for your doggie-date night.
