This dog-friendly, seasonal rooftop and beer terrace located on top of the historic BOK building in South Philadelphia changed things up in the summer 2020. From hosting “take your dog to school day” every Sunday, it also created a pop-up restaurant and creative scene for 25 women-owned, BIPOC chefs, creators and innovators displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A traveling, dog-friendly beer garden, developed as a partnership between Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and FCM Hospitality, Parks on Tap sets up shop in different city parks throughout the summer. A portion of all proceeds made as a part of the partnership benefits each park that hosts events.

Located 12 floors up at the Cira Green, this seasonal rooftop restaurant not only showcases the showstopping view and its signature burgers, in 2020 it set up in service of local rescue organizations. By hosting weekly Yappy Hours that featured a full menu, as well as chef-made dog treats, Sunset Social brought adoptable dogs to guests and earmarked a portion of the profits to benefit the PSPCA and Morris Animal Refuge.
